Cyn’s Painted Pet Rocks & More!

Hi, I’m Cynthia, from ‘Cyn’s Painted Pet Rocks & More!’

I paint pet portraits on river rocks. I’m a self-taught artist and began painting pets during covid. The majority of portraits I paint are memorials gifts, but it doesn’t have to be. If you’re interested, you can find my page on Facebook, or email me at:

NJ Woodwrks: CNC Carving & Laser Engraving

Hi, I’m Nelson, a retired Edmonton resident. To keep myself busy – and, let’s be honest, to stay out of my wife’s hair! – I discovered a unique and rewarding hobby that has become a real passion.

I’d like to introduce you to a creative form of art called V-Carve – transforming your favourite photos into beautifully engraved wooden portraits.

There’s something truly special about turning a treasured photograph into a lasting piece of art. Whether it’s a memorial for a cherished pet or a portrait to display alongside your family photos on the mantel, each piece is made with care and attention to detail.

All I need is a clear, high-quality photo.

If you’d like to have a special memory transformed into a one-of-a-kind wooden keepsake, I’d love to help. Feel free to send me a message!

Nicole Deibert: Multimedia Artist

My love of painting pet portraits began with my own cats. Their memorable expressions, curious personalities, and little quirks inspired me to capture the unique spirit of each animal through painting.

Using acrylic gouache on watercolour paper, Masonite board, or cradled birch panels, I create painterly realistic portraits with expressive colour, a graphic quality, and a beautiful matte finish. Working from photographs provided by pet owners, I enjoy capturing both the playful moments and the quiet expressions that reveal an animal’s personality.

My goal is to create artwork that reflects the special connection between people and their pets, preserving the character and memories that make each companion one of a kind.
